Want To Be The Next Big Star? Keep Your Eyes On The Road…

Aug 9, 2013

Let’s be honest now, anyone that lives in Texas and is interested in modeling and/or acting has heard of Page Parkes, power model and actor scout for over 33 years. And anyone that knows Page, or has seen her on E! Entertainment’s “Scouted” knows that her signature move is to scout you at very random locations. From a volleyball game to picking out your veggies at HEB.

Well, Page is on the lookout once more and this time it’s more likely that she’ll run into you as she kicks off her Glamping Across Texas:The Scouting Roadtrip Tour! Page will be road tripping to different cities across Texas with the sole purpose of finding her next star.

01Road Trip Kickoff!

BLiNC by bambi lynn has both worked and supported Page countless of times throughout the years, and this is no exception. We’re ecstatic for Page’s new adventure, so excited we invited her to make her first stop in Dallas, Texas for our Step Up Your Style fashion show with Grand Prairie Outlet malls.

Page’s Promotional Team was present to scout and hand out scholarships to the lucky winners!

NYFW Spotlight: Czar 2013 Fall Collection Sponsored by AMC

Apr 15, 2013

Designer Cesar Galindo featured his outstanding Czar collection during New York Fashion Week this past February.  In September we wrote about his designs closing Fashion Week, and this time he was one of the opening shows—bright and early at 9AM on a cold New York day! Culture Map did a very detailed piece on his shows and you can read all about it here.

01Ready for the show!

As always, we like to bring you the inside scoop on backstage shenanigans, and you can imagine Cesar’s show vibrated with movement and excitement behind Lincoln Center’s curtains.

BliNC by bambi lynn assisted with back stage coordination, alongside Gregory Triano from Blue Cashew. It was all about ensuring the flow and positive energy before models hit the runway—from supervising hair and make up, to prepping dressers before show time.

03

As a native Houstonian, Cesar had fellow Houstonites and friends Page Parkes and Tabitha Pagel Garcia (President and Vice President of powerhouse modeling agency/school Page Parkes) fly up to the big apple. Not only has Page strongly supported Cesar throughout his career, but Cesar frequently uses Page Parkes models in his shows, as was the case this time. We sure love to see Houston leaving its print during Fashion Week!

04Congrats on your constant achievements, Cesar!
